1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how the Windows application Sound - Mp3 - Music player (the "App") handles information. The App is published by Dream-Apps.pl, Piotr Wosinek, Poland (the "Publisher", "we"). Contact: info@dream-apps.pl, website www.dream-apps.pl.

We are the data controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the limited data described below.

2. Summary

3. Data stored locally on your device

The following data is created by the App and kept in the App's private storage on your PC. It is not transmitted to the Publisher.

You can remove all of this data at any time by uninstalling the App or by using Settings → Apps → Sound - Mp3 - Music player → Reset in Windows.

4. Windows permissions (capabilities) used by the App

CapabilityWhy the App needs it
Internet (client / client-server)Searching, streaming, downloading, lyrics, ads, status check and telemetry.
Music, Videos and Pictures libraries; removable storagePlaying, scanning and saving media files on your PC and external drives. Access to other folders is granted only when you pick them in the folder picker.
Background media playbackContinue playing music when the App is minimised, with Windows media controls and media keys.
LocationThe App reads only your Windows region setting (country) to show content that is popular in your country. It does not use GPS and does not determine your physical location.

5. Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports

To detect errors and understand which features are used, the App sends anonymous technical events to two analytics services operated on our behalf:

Each event may contain: the anonymous installation identifier, App version, Windows version and device type, interface language and region, the name of the screen or feature used, and, for errors, the error type, message and the place in the App where it occurred. Events do not contain your name, e-mail address, file names, search terms or the content you play. Your IP address is technically visible to these providers when the event is received but is not stored by us and, in Google Analytics, is not logged or stored by Google. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months and then automatically deleted.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in maintaining a stable and secure application (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Third-party services used to deliver content

When you use the features below, the App connects directly to the following third-party services. They receive only the data needed to fulfil your request, together with standard connection data (IP address, user agent). Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies.
